Turn is here. Unfortunetaly I won't be able to play it tonight. Will somebody else be able to play it please? I'd really appreciate it.
[Edit] Sorry I think I messed up the year.

I can't play the turn because I can't get SMACX to run on my celeron XP laptop (plus I have been out of the game so long my inepitude would cause us to probably end up capitulating to the Belivers.)
But this raises in my mind the following:
If we can't find a native born Hiverian to play the turn then why don't we allow a Drone to play the turn.
Consider:
The Hive turn follows the Drone turn.
Why don't we share the burden of turnplaying with the Drones.
One year a native Hive member can play both the Drone and Hive turns. The next year a native Drone member can play both the Drone and Hive turns.
It will make the game go much faster.
Hong Hu has given so much that I feel that we have asked too much of her. It is not fair.
If there is such opposition to allowing a native born Drone member to play our turns (and vice versa) then I suggest that the protesters volunteer to be Turnplayers.
Come to think of it, I'm going to start a new thread on this. Please post responses there.

pre-END TURN file: Edit: File removed.
Please note that the CMC did NOT check for rogue mind worms (see above post).
Also, Industrial Base has been downloaded from the Data Angels.

I had an argument with Rokossovky way back about fungal pops. He reorganised the crawlers to reduce pollution. I disagreed saying we needed as many fungal pops as we could get while we still didn't have much terraforming to increase our clean mineral limit.
My exact example was it was better to lose a forest than it was to lose a borehole. As a forest may regrow over the fungus, where a borehole will probably need to be reterraformed.

Funny it was Rokossovkygrad's borehole that got fungused.

I had also carefully organised the fungal pops to happen on non-rocky squares with lots of surrounding forests. Since fungus tends to grow towards a base from the nearest fungus square.

If you have fungus in range, the only pops that can occur will adjacent to the fungus towards to the base.

Range is 3 squares away in any direction I think, but I've haven't tested further away. I heard someone else say that if you clear all fungus the fungal bloom appears in the same spot very time.
