I keep getting these messages all over apolyton. Is there a bug somewhere? Surely a slow server should not react by giving me random 403 errors!

Randomly occurs at peak times, reloading will usually fix it. Only from my home computer (IE 5.5), the University computers (Netscape 4.0) work fine. Although that last fact might be related to the times they occur during.

Sounds like something that cannot be controlled -- it may simply be the server refusing your access request.

But why? It's at the whole site, not limited to the forums.

There is no real way to tell -- your browser may simply not be interpretting the server's message properly, but I would say that at those particular moments the server may be overloaded or rebooting and refuses your request.
Nothing to worry about at this rate.
