Trade Supremo 1814: Caravan Movements

Support Apolyton, buy Civilization III: Complete

At present we have two Caravans in the field - a Gems one in a Caravel just offshore from Giza (not demanded in either Giza or Killdeer) and a Salt Caravan on the Caravel North of the new city of Malaca (also not demanded by any city we know the locations of).

What do we do with these guys?

Salt Caravan:

establish a trade route with Malaca

found a trade route with the next new city we build

drop off at Apolytonia once the settler has been dropped off and await somewhere that demands Salt

The Gems Caravan:

set up a route with Giza (right there)
set up a route with Killdeer (2 turns movement to the South)
return it to Apolytonia and await a better chance

How about using the Salt Caravan to explore inland for good city sites south of Malaca?

We could continue to explore with the Gem Caravan to find a city demanding it.

Suffering from ads?

A friend once told me that if there are 2 ways of doing something, I'll find a 3rd. LOL! Unfortunately, I can't edit polls, and doesn't seem a major enough matter to ask Ming to do.

So:

1 write in vote for using the Salt Caravan to explore below Malaca and Utica until it is valuable somewhere as trade.

1 write in vote to continue exploring with the Gem Caravan Caravel.

oops, this could get confusing but........here goes.........

1 vote in agreement with Cavebear that we use the Salt caravan to explore south of Malaca/Utica.

1 write in vote to use the Gems caravan to explore Egypt (and possibly Sioux lands if nearby).

Hopefully one of them encounters a city where they are demanded, but if not I am willing to take the chance.

Either way, I think we need to get the Caravels back to Apolytonia asap in order to pick up more settlers for more cities.

Salt Caravan

Explore inland - 2 votes
Route with Malaca - 1 vote

Increase the size of your Attachments

Why deliver to our size 1/2 cities when there are large AI cities available for delivery?? There is an extra bonus for making a delivery to an AI city over one of our own.

Deliver them both to Giza or Killdeer.
