it will stop other players - teams from being able to open the save up during a sp game and see what and where the other civs are etc

why bother with all the secrecy when then have that ability

v1.22 stops that cold

can I make a dual install? I.e. keep playing at 1.15 and 1.22 simoultaniously. I remember sir ralph has posted a solution about PtW? Is this applicable for Conquests too?

Yes, it is. Just make a copy of the current Conquests directory so that you have two. Make one with a tag of 1.15 and the other 1.22; then patch each folder to it's appropriate version # and then make short cuts to each executable and then you are done.

Indeed, as BF says

Just copy your current directory to a new one called Conquests115, then install the 1.22 patch.

Note that it'll be a bit of a space hog; but you can delete some stuff from your 115 folder like Conquests and Scenarios

So... what was(were) the main argument(s) against upgrading? Should we bring these before the UN to ensure they are at least aware of them?

No, we didn't record our vote at the UN. But, there have ben 6 out of 10 votes cast and all of them were for the upgrade. So, our vote one way or the other would not effect the outcome.
