Why change? Stick with 1.15 now, and upgrade whan this game is finished. It would be simpler.

No. I think 1.15 is better for PBEM games. I really don't like the blacked out screen on completion of a unit/building.

Just in case we get the bug where MGLs can rush Great Wonders, which was reported by one or two people. (Many more seem to have bugless MGLs though.)

It happens on the beginning of your turn. If a city produces something and you click to go to the city all you see is a black for the city tiles. You can still see the tiles being worked but not their terrain. It is quite annoying when you have a lot of cities and want to adjust your production.

Any other bugs with 1.22?

Can anyone explain why we should upgrade? What are the things that have been fixed?

Aren't Leaders designed to either raise an Army or rushbuild a Wonder?

I thought that games of earlier versions were incompatible with 1.22...

EDIT: Well I'll be.... my PBEMs seem to load fine... I guess it was only if you had Radio already then.

I don't see what the issue with 1.22 is. I have yet to hear of the MGL bug from more than 2 or so people, and the last theory I saw is that it happens if you have less than the 4 cities required to support an army, which shouldn't be a problem by the time of our continent's war.

I'll abstain from voicing an opinion unless someone posts a good reason to be for or against patching:

1) What will it break to upgrade?
2) What will it fix to upgrade?


Or is it mostly for the convenience of those playing the turn (not having to deal with more than 1 civ install, or them holding off on patching altogether because of this game).

I go with the mob and I'm against the exclusion of the Radio in the techtree. The development of the radio was after all a major technological development, not just with the purpose of having better control over the airforce, but with a societal role.

Radio will not be canceled out by the upgrade; it's in there tight in the rules. And as others have said, it's unlikely we'll get there anyway.
