Actually the only time I have eaten Vietnamese was when I was really, really young (<7). I had a friend who was Vietnamese and used to go to her home all the time.

Rare. What's the point of eating stake if it isn't red and tender and juicy?

Anybody who eats their steak more done then medium is wasting their money, and should order a stew instead.
Not that I don't like stews BTW.

Problem probably stems from the fact that many 'restaurants' sell 'steaks' from senile old cows, and if your first steak is from one of those, you're sure to never ever have a steak other then 'well-done-and-a-little-more'

Problem being that the English can only make (crappy) hamburgers, pizza, and hot dogs. They really can't hope to replicate the amazing taste of Southern style BBQ. The BBQ ribs and chicken, fried chicken, fried green tomatoes, hash browns, etc. And then, of course, they've hardly even heard of Tex-Mex (even Mexican is something almost unknown ) and the great tastes of the Southwest. You haven't lived until you've tried a true Texan chile (con carne).

Medium. Nicely burnt on the outside yet pink (but not bloody or chewy) on the inside.

Ah yes... it was a good deal. I needed to do something to jump start my team (we suck royally) and I had 4 relief aces. Hopefully Zito can help me on the SP front (when he gets his head back to where it should be).

It is, after all, a long season .

Oh, and if you ever get into Atlanta, I'll have to take you out for some good Southern BBQ .

Yeah, I just couldn't wait any longer on the Zito front. My starting pitching was definitely my weakest spot, and he was the biggest reason. I'm sure he'll turn it around eventually, and good on ya when he does.

I needed some relief help, since my one save guy (Borowski) has been nothing but crappy crap crap this year. My other guys (Hawkins & Mota) have been awesome, but they usually don't get save opportunities. Hoffman will be a big help. (And Hawkins might become the Cubbies closer if Borowski keeps sucking.)

It depends on the cut of steak. I've gone anywhere from blue to medium rare. Filet mignon is best blue, but you have to watch it because it can be cold in the middle.
