. What is the monthly or annual buget for this great service? Broken into:
1. money
2. Hours by Admins
3. Hours by Moderators

I think us lucky freeloaders should have an idea of the cost for the benifit were are recieving without pain/cost to ourselves. (I feel some noble now, that I think I will go click on some adds)

I always thought apolyton.net is hosted? at no or minimum cost to the admins? and the revenue is generated through ads? I could be wrong. I'm pretty sure they spent a lot of hours on their baby... heck they 'hired' a lot of help

. I believe catagories 2 & 3, the unpaid hours put in, will be the largest cost.

Lighty playing the admins again.

LC: They say that it's an, well, intimate issue. So they don't want to tell how much money they get. Whatever they get, they say they use it for the Apolyton. The ads here are paid for per view, not per click AFAIK.

pc: It's very part-time, only a hobby.

Thanks for supplying the answers, LE Minor clarification: I don't know if the term "very" should go before "part-time", based on the numbers of hours we do spend tinkering around here, but "hobby" is defintely the operative word in the sentence.

That said, to disclose the # of hours we put into the site would mean we would have to start to keep track of them and that could put us into shock... ( wouldn't want that, now would you? )
