I guess we have two options for Invention, Tab and CoD. We should find out when each team will have it completed and check the game to see what techs they need.

As for the non-interference pact, I feel it is OK to start discussion so we can find out what they have in mind. Before we can agree though we need to know what is covered and not covered (e.g., trading techs to their enemy).

I'm not thrilled about the "non-interference" pact at all. I don't think we should limit who we trade with or isolate nations that are engulfed in war. We should be utterly neutral in foreign conflicts.

I'd rather trade with Tabemono for Invention, however if they need iron, we may be able to send that to them. Thoughts on that?

I agree. Screw the "non-interference" crap. Almost anything can be construed as "interference." We should do what's in our best interests and not be handicapped by another teams wishes.

As I said a few posts up, I would like to find out what "non-interference" means before we tell them no. If it just covers transporting military units to the other continent then I think we could agree for some period of time. If it involves trading then I don't like it.

I would prefer to get Invention from Tab as well. We have a good relationship with them and they would pose a bigger threat to us as an enemy so we need to keep our relations with Tab in very good shape.

We will not be able to trade iron to the other continent for some time as the trade route crosses sea.

Alright, shall we try to pitch Theology to CoD or Python for it? Considering we have sole rights on the tech (even after we trade it to LL and Tabemono) it IS relatively important for them to get at some point in time.

We will also get Education in about 7 turns after we finish Theology if they're stingy, but I'd like to work out a deal with Theo if possible, otherwise we don't really have anything for them to give us for it except "tech credits."
