In any case, UR, I don't see why you're always complaining that the game is unfair to non-capitalist economies. Many such nations have powerful economies; look at Celdonia (which was in the top 100 for fastest economic growth the last time it came up), or for that matter, look at the Hive.

Simple.

I have two countries, one outlawed capitalism and the other did not. Other than that, I do nothing different between the two. The former has a ranking of "imploded" while the later has a ranking of "frightening."

Thus, the system is broken. In fact, even after I restored capitalism for Noosland, nothing has changed. Thus, not only the system is broken, but it got weird bugs.

I see that you are not only ignoring the examples I provided of non-capitalist nations with very strong economies, but also ignoring other factors that might lead to your nn-capitalist nation having an Imploded economy. Why am I not surprised?

Did you pay attention to the part where I said I made identical decisons for identical issues? It seems that you have completely ignored what I said.

Ok, so I missed that bit. My apologies. However, the fact that you have one nation that acts the same as a capitalist nation and has a crappy economy is hardly indicative of anything, given that many other non-capitalist nations do just fine.

Also, how long have you been making these identical decisions for? If it's been from the start of the game, then I'd very much like to know how it is that one of them has been capitalist and the other one not.

Even more messed up than before Support Apolyton or Terrorists Win

quote:

The Dominion of Noosland is a massive, safe nation, notable for its compulsory military service. Its compassionate, hard-working population of 3.076 billion are either ruled by a small, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, pro-business government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, the Environment, and Social Equality. The average income tax rate is 100%. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising fourteen-year-old boys selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

Is my govenment small and efficient or omnipresent? Is it pro-business or stamping them out? This is even more contradictory than before. Yahoo!
