There's three lefts in that lot though Skanky... not that it really matters at this stage, but I thought - perhaps miskakenly? - that only two changes in any one direction were allowed?

Undoubtedly, the most exciting event of this turn was Chaunk, who hurtled off an overpass at extremely high speed. His car then flew a good distance across the course before crashing into oblivion in the area between the split tracks. Meanwhile, Rah continues to drive toward victory, and Skanky is trying his hardest to get to the finish line as fast as he can while hoping Rah runs into something...

I'll be playing next round too. My plan was to keep driving while everyone else crashed. It almost worked, but I don't think I loosened the nuts on Rah's car enough.

Lots of turns, and hide the track 10 lines ahead again. Otherwise you can plan the perfect race. Oh, and add oilslicks and sand traps again.

Oilslicks wouldn't be that bad, now that crashing doesn't kill you instantaneously. Sandtraps would be nice to try out - I don't think they have actually made it into the game yet.

Yes, I think we'll go back to the not exposed track.
This race, after getting away with not crashing the first turn. I charted the next 11 turns prior to moving in the second round, so I knew where I could use each wild card. Fortunately the extra squares under the bridge didn't ruin my planning. I think a race with turns that you can't speed through will make a difference. I'm not a big fan of sandtraps on the track, but I will probably add a few that will only cause -2 speed. I will also probably lessen the penalty for crashing so people stay in the race later.

One other thing I will test. If a person issues orders that drive them off the track, they will get a warning and a chance to modify their orders. Sometimes the spaces or direction is confusing on these tracks.

What do you guys think of these concepts?

I just designed a KILLER track.
Just waiting for any comments and a few more drivers, and maybe we can start tomorrow.

I'm also thinking that crashes will mean -3 speed
and driving off the track 1 square -2 speed
2 squares -3 speed
3 squares- reduction to 0
Doing a Chaunk will get you style points but will probably result in a DQ

Any seemingly intentional off track - reduction to 0
And anything really funny will cause a missed turn.

I'm thinking of starting at speed 7 with 10 WCs. I think that won't be enough.

And the track will be just over 210 squares in length. and some serious WCs will be needed the last 50 squares.
