	City #4 - read before voting please Support Apolyton

The discussion for city site #4 appears to be centering on these city sites. Although there may still be some discussion regarding the exact location (for example, if you pick Blue you might want to have the city on the hill instead of the floodplain).

So, use this thread for discussion, then vote on where you feel the best location is. I will set this to be able to vote for more than one option, so please be careful when you vote to just pick one color.

Red will gain us horses (with a temple or slight site move), but will be relatively unproductive. I will probably not build much here except regular units and perhaps a build of the lighthouse.

Green is a great city for long term production, it has good hills and food. However, it is far enough away to have corruption (17% if I did the math right) so it will only average until it is built up and of about size 4. It will be used for REX, so I want this site soon, but it can wait til site #5.

Blue gives us Ivory (a great thing, I like happy people). It will also be a good launch point for our war effort. It will have something along 22% corruption (when founded) so again it must grow to size 4. A good average production site and growth site. We should found this soon, no later than #6.

Yellow is our best production site. It will have about 19.5% corruption, but has land that is valuable without much improvement being needed. Because of this and our upcoming war, having this up sooner is a good idea.

Because of our plans, I recommend either green or yellow be next. Please discuss and vote.

Since we seem to be using archers for the attack, it would be wiser to get another barracks town up asap, with green site settled next.

Elimination means the best cities FIRST. With REX there is little need for a lux until we start cranking Archers. There is NO need for Ivory if we use a a pre-build for a LONG number of turns.

My philosophy is, tis better to have the power to take resources than to have them at the cost of that power.

And the ivory won't be a very productive city site.
