actually, when I think about it, evergreen isn't correct as well. Palms are evergreen as well.

the name for pine, fir, etc is evergreen or coniferous

maple, oak, etc are deciduous

palms are, well, palms (monocotyledous)

you did that in photoshop?

get yourself a copy of illustrator or something, fast!

Illustrator is a vector-based graphics program. It's what I've done almost all of my maps in.

Other similar programs are CorelDraw and Quark X-press. There are also some free programs out there like Sketch, Karbon14 and Sodipodi.

It would make your life a whole lot easier, trust me.

Use the Pen tool. It makes life much easier for drawing things such as roads.
