I can understand words like "****" or "**** " being censored, but "D I C K" is a name for crying outloud.
Plus, there is a bit of inconsistency, for example Hydey got away with this little beauty:
<center><table width=80%><tr><td><font color=000080 face="Verdana" size=2><font size="1">quote:
<img src=/forums/"/images/blue1.gif" width=100% height=1>
</font>We would be a republic but too many dickheads voted against it
<img src=/forums/"/images/blue1.gif" width=100% height=1></font></td></tr></table></center>
And yet tonic's innocent reference to D I C K Smith in this post was stung:
<center><table width=80%><tr><td><font color=000080 face="Verdana" size=2><font size="1">quote:
<img src=/forums/"/images/blue1.gif" width=100% height=1>
</font>I don't know about the coolest invention but the warmest one might have been invented by our whizz-kid **** Smith before he made his fortune in the electronics business. It was a toilet-seat warmer working on the same principle as an electric blanket, making that room the place to be on a contemplative winter's morning. Now why didn;t it catch on?
<img src=/forums/"/images/blue1.gif" width=100% height=1></font></td></tr></table></center>
What is so offensive about the word D I C K anyway? Most of us here actually have a D I C K, penis, slong, John Thomas, Mr Happy, or whatever else you wish care to call it actually attached to our bodies. So what's the big deal?
Bkeela.

Actually, practically all versions of song everywhere has that. It's the part of the song that refers to bringing a gun to school, which in the US is a very sensitive issue. It's not just an Australian thing.

No, in Australia we don't live with kangaroos and koalas in our backyards... Despite any stupid advertisments you may see to the contrary... (And no, koalas don't usually speak!)

Yeah, here in Britain they bleep out 'can full of gas and a box full of matches' from 'Guilty Conscience'. Daft... the people the censors are trying to 'protect' are the very same people that actually know what's being said anyway. Down with censorship. ****ers!
