Hehe, I started playing today - only lvl 2 for now, though. I need 1 more moxie for lvl 3. Once I get there I'll apply for the clan too ...

I bought a terraruim, but I don't have a familiar for now. Completed my training, found 2 treasures, that's all ....

A few tips:

Dont level too fast - practice your secondary stats instead. I eat and drink stuff that actually lowers my primary stat...

Stuff like razor-sharp can lids, hellion cubes, spices, lemons, limes, dry noodles is quite expensive... Watch how you sell it...

I've got the chef-in-a-box set up at my campsite. Do I need to give it ingredients, or will it just cook stuff on its own? If the former, then what ingredients should I give it?

You need to have the ingredients. The chef-in-the-box just reduces the adventure cost.

I read somewhere in the thread that someone may buy things from the hermit withou using pass - I took the volleyball from the stash so can anyone buy a volleyball for me so I can replace the taken one?

Just dump other items in the clan stash to make up for the stuff you took. The volleyball will help you level faster so you can get better items sooner, so it all works out in the end.

Gourd quest. 5 lids get a mysticality based player 35 substat points. Also, lids are a pain in the ass to collect.

My main char is a 7th lvl sauceror as well. I dont have a chef in a box just yet, but will cook when i get round to setting one up.

That jewelled cane thing is disco bandit only, and rather good. Well worth a look
