In the original RON, one could raze captured cities after razing all the buildings therein.
Strangely, one could not raze the captured founding capital cities of each nation, even AFTER razing all the buildings therein.
Now, in RON: T&P, I find that one is unable to raze captured cities, be they the original capital or no, even after razing all the buildings therein.
BHG, what gives?
Why can't we raze captured cities in RON: T&P?
I find this especially annoying, since we are limited in the overall number of cities we can build. I prefer to raze captured cities to the ground and build my own instead. I do not like badly placed captured cities counting against my overall limit.
Is there any script or other way we can modify the game so that we can raze captured cities if we wish?

Has anyone else figured out a way to tweak RON: T&P so that captured cities can be razed?

BHG,
No, I just don't have a raze button offered in the city option panel.
I see no way to raze the city without a raze (skull & crossbones) button.
What am I missing?

Cities aren´t destroyed when it has 0 hp
IT means u can capture it
After assimilation timer goes to zero, u get to use the city like it was urs ( making villagers, building buildings, etc...)

Hey, that works! Thank you.
So, BHG, how come there's no raze (skull & bones) button in the city options anymore? Was that an oversight?
Also, I'd like to suggest a slight tweak to your wonderful game.
One ought to be rewarded with unlimited caravan building and unlimited city building (or at least as many cities as there are wonders) when one reaches the top of the technology tree. Might unlimited caravan building be granted with "global prosperity"? Or might unlimited city building be granted with "world government"?
That would be a great reward. I'd love to perfect my empire at the end of the game by filling the world with as many cities as wonders, building every wonder, and linking every city with a net of trade routes.
The present limitations seem so needlessly stifling.
