Can't Trade Maps Get a bigger avatar today!

I'm currently playing a C3C game (Ver 1.0) and have noticed that I do not ever get the option to trade maps. I can't remember if any civ advance is required for this, but I am well into the medievil times, so it can't be that.

Does anybody know what the problem might be.

Support Apolyton, pre-order Civilization IV

You need Navigation to trade maps in C3C.

Thanks vmxa1,

I thought that the restriction was for world maps. It seems quite late to be trading territory maps, considering most continental conflicts are decided by the time you research Navigation.
