Help yourself to an AD-FREE life

Civ3 is definately superior to CTP2 overall, but it still dosnt deserve its lousy reputation as its a decent play. And I would say that the combat system principle (if not the execution) is superior.

thats a matter of opinion

I have the original civ3 and played two games and couldn't stand the combat/worker systems, I guess I've been spoiled by ctp2. I'll admit that there are some cool concepts in civ3 and perhaps I should try out CTC....

Support Apolyton, buy Galactic Civilizations: Deluxe Edition

How can you judge civ3 after only 2 games......

Besides that,
The public work system of CtP 1 and CtP 2 is way too much micromanagement. I really disliked the system. Without that CtP 2 might actually have been fun.

What can I say? I didnt like it

Public works reduces micromanagement...moving all those workers around takes forever. With PW you just place the improvement.
