N3 Sports News
"THE Event of the Summer, 'Poly 2004: The UAFA Football Championships is to be held in Karakas.
Of course, N3 Sports is the premier sports news channel and will keep you up to date on all the qualifiers as and when they qualify..."
[ooc: as there is no qualification, post the RL nation your country most resembles, plus a list of 23 player names (if you don't want to use the RL ones) and positions, and they will be edited into the most recent version of CM which will simulate the tournament- I will edit RL players to the names without changing any stats.
Competition format depends on the number of qualifiers. Although groups of 3 or 4 are likely as these are easiest to simluate.]
Karakas [Portugal] 4-4-2 hosts
Ceroo [Wales] 4-5-1 *fully entered into CM
NCC Pavesia [Finland] 4-3-3 *fully entered into CM
San Antonio Bay [Spain] 4-4-2 *fully entered into CM
Auldoninna [Australia] 3-4-3
Jonchastan [Tunisia] 3-5-2
Iguana Fire [Norway]
Alecrast [Japan]
North Spire [England or Poland]
Ming Tran [China] 4-4-2
Guardinia [not chosen]
Dakmoristan [not chosen]

As many as you like, depending on formation.
As long as there's a decent balance, the game should be able to calculate a realistic result...
Ceroo's formation is 4-5-1 so it is likely there will be a higher than average number of midfielders in the squad.
In other news, Ceroo's Under 21s pulled off a magnificent 4-0 victory over San Antonio Bay, [in a final test of using CM4 with various nation names] at the Millennium Stadium in Sarali.
Midfielder Peter Tomlinson controlled the match and scored two goals, making him a hot tip to be included in the senior sqaud for the tournament.

12 is manageable, but 16 would be nice. Aiming to get all the team/name info into CM by Euro 2004 kickoff- we can run the torunaments parrallel (and see if Karakas can emulate Portugal's successes...)
