Goo that Arrian mentioned that it's a bug. I'm split as always. I understand the deep feelings of resentment that I'm completely familiar with, but now that I'm not caught by feelings of grudge, I prefer to be honest and fair. The fair and honest player will in the end be the true winner, not the cheat, because of the conciousness of having cheated.

Just to let everyone know, that I have tested this in my sim. IF we are offered peace from GCA and we accept it WITHOUT changing the WF of the Effected cities ON THE TURN BEFORE, we WILL go into Civil Disorder in those cities.

The Cities in question are: Apolyton Prime & Dominus.

Btw, Trip, he says he wants a replay if it was a bug. It's not a bug, it was an oversight on his part. Tell him we will give him peace in five turns if he so wishes peace; otherwise we are fine being at war with them.

Replay two turns? No way.

I see two acceptable options. Send peace now, or play the rules like he did with WW and only send peace once we've been at war (without conflict) for 5 turns total. (We've only had 2 turns so far.)

wait, so they noticed the problem, but sent the turn anyways without resolving the problem? If there wasn't a war going on, that would be one thing, but 2 moves is a lot of moves for GWT to repeat exactly, if they even could with the rng.

I'm for giving them peace this turn. Let's give them a better example than themselves.

Everyone please post your opinions on this; it needs to be decided before we play the turn (690), and the save is already in.

Edit: BTW, E_T tells me it's looking like we'd need a 6th turn to cut a turn off the Hanging Gardens anyway, which is impossible; war happiness cuts out after 5 regardless of peace.

I said in the chat if we keep on b*tching and moaning about what an asswipe Lucky is, the last thing we should do is stoop to his level and do the exact things that the bastard would do to us. So why are we even debating this?

Send them peace accepted this turn saying we did not know the reasons GCA "declared war" to us and if it was a bug then so be it, here's the peace. Adjust the WF for the three cities accordingly.

We will NOT replay because it is not our fault that GCA failed to notice this over two turns afterwards. It's their responsibilty to check their diplo data, not ours.

Lucky had very breifly, popped into chat, just around when they are playing their turn. I was in the FAM room, but AFK/on another screen, so I didn;t see him until he had left. The thing was, he made NO attempt to communicate or anything, just came and went. I had always noticed a little while later.

And I did let Kloreep and MZ know that he was there, with the timestamp.

5 turns at all 10 of the pop working, and the 6th turn to change it back to an entertainer. Can;t get HG any sooner without it, sorry....

If some guy raped my kid I certainly would not go and rape his; but I more than likely would not wait around for the Justice system to do its job either. You'd have one dead child rapist. No doubts on that. Sometimes an "eye for an eye" is the right thing to do. You have to fight fire with fire at times.
