	War Weariness! Full PM-box? Change here!

I've been thinking, if we are forced to attack GWT, we will begin to suffer WW. Depending on the scale and duration of the combat, this can only get worse (though I'm a proponent of the "raze their sh*t and get the f*ck outta there" strategy).

The tricky thing is that since we will be attacking GWT in their territory and in their continent, the 5-turn no-combat rule might very well not apply. GWT will argue that we went all the way to their side to attack them and and since we started a war on THEIR turf, they have no need to ask for peace. On the other hand, if they start the war, they can still invoke the 5-turn rule since they are fighting a defensive war on their territory against an overseas attacker.

Has anyone contemplated the consequences of this, or am I merely overreacting?

I wouldn't worry about it. Once we leave their land, and there is NO conflict for 5 turns, they have to give us peace.

I don't think that'll be their interpretation of it. We went over THERE and started a war. They have no reason to call por peace since we still have the means to keep attacking them.

(remember that the main argument against GCA is that neither had the means to attack the other, in this case, we will)

But I'd just like the whole team to share all possible occurances or problems. Better they be discussed now than when it's too late.

WW only really hits in when you lose cities or units. Unless we get into a major slug-fest (like with GCA) then we shouldn't suffer any WW. If we get (almost) our entire force then it shouldn't be anything to worry about, even if GWT doesn't give peace after 5 turns.

I thought you had to have units in the enemies culture ring for WW to increase?

In either case, the previous posters are correct, we have to do this depite war weariness. Its our best shot to win this game.
