all of the above are approved LEGAL ways to spam your way to the high levels.

paddy is right , get involved in all the Civ 3 PBEM, DEMO games, then goto the OTher Games Forum and get involved in a few Mafia games and hangman games.

Finally write some stories or Role play in the appropiate forums and you will be averaging from 50 -200 posts per day
