I am about to embark on a diplomatic mission to the four nations on your continent. I appreciate that there are some tensions. But it would be helpful to all concerned - and I am not just talking our team here - if the four could set aside your differences - each build 3 to 5 galleys with troops, and set sail for Python and/or CoD. Python would be the best target. We suspect they should be fairly exposed up north, and it may expedite a peace agreement on our continent.
There's the situation. Any thoughts?

(Basically wanting to create a loophole if it all goes pear-shaped and painting Python as the bad guys). We have had some fun screwing with CoDs head by saying we know Python was only following their ideas.
Pythons plan is to have North & South core, with CoD in the middle. (Stupid :rolleyes
Anyway .. enough of that.
Our tech trades….And I will speak plainly.
Monkey has very little to offer in the way of compensation for any tech traded.
We have maxed out our army for our empire size, and are running at 0gpt.
I cannot see how we can ever begin to make money again unless hostilities suddenly stop. And that will not happen.
So, from my point of view, we are simply begging for free tech so as to make the battle for Python & CoD as bloody as possible.
We know that they are waiting for longbowmen before attacking again, and invention must be coming up pretty soon.
When that happens, unless the monkey RNG gods favour us again, Monkey will be overrun. We know this for certain.
What we want to do is to hurt the CoD & Python empires as much as possible. Make them pour as much as they can into their military rather than their infrastructure.
And we do this, to ensure neither of these teams can gain world dominance. And you should be aware … Python & CoD are ONE TEAM and should be treated as such.
So .. for your “gift” of Fuedalsim and eventually Invention, we can offer very little other than making two of your competitors pay dearly in blood.
However, thinking outside the box, we can offer…
Future Ivory (if by chance we hold onto our little territory.) – Unlikely
A secret ally, that can be used to spy on your competitors during war.
Or even a second empire if you wish to re-establish us in any conquered territory.
Our small island is our eventual refuge. It is safe from any invasion until marines. So we are guaranteed to be around for a large part of this game.
Note, all of this above is just my thoughts, and any agreement needs to be voted upon by Team Monkey.
But probably the only dissent from our end would be that our cash reserves are so poor, that we could not afford longbowmen upgrades anyway. And since I am already on my knees begging for tech, I might as well let you know that any cash you could lend us would obviously be appreciated.
Especially if it had very long term repayment terms
Anyway .. That’s the update.
Monkey days are numbered on the main continent. We only wish to make it as painful as possible for Python & CoD. Sunshine is not going to ever make any money from us in selling tech. And your immediate compensation will just be the weakening of your competitors as they spend the bulk of their economy on military.
