	The Undecided Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

Now that school is over and I have more time on my hands I decided to check up on good old Poly, and much to my surprise the nostalgia of the old ACDG overwhelmed me, so here I am again, back for another round.

But... I am undecided as to what faction I should join. Here is your opportunity to convince me, as well as other potential participants, why your faction is the faction to join.

Morgan is the only sane choice (that's why I'm throwing in my lot with them)

Goals:

And consider all the useful virtual reality experiments you could undertake! Why dance naked under the trees when you can do it in 128-terabyte living color?

I'd settle at most for 64-bit to keep my processors efficient.

Morgan might be an interesting team, but I'm not sure about how to play the minigame.
As for everyone managing a base, that could get inefficient. It's the source of Sven's -1 Effic penalty!
"Thinking outside the box" to SMAC... how would that work?

Mind you, there's too much Spam in Sparta - I mean, Skanky's there. What more proof do you need?

Is there a current members list for each faction?

I believe the list in Tass's thread is fairly current.

And on a more sober note, the Angels are really a faction you can do anything with. Morgan needs his money to win, Santiago needs her guns, Deirdre needs her psi. Roze can take any path to victory, and on top of that she has probes to confound her opponents! (Proof of this is the debate going on right now in the Angel private forum about which SE choices are best for the Angels. You can really go all of a heck of a lot of different ways.)

You've got -1 police and good probes, so go FM.

With FM, then Dem's a good pick, and with FM/Dem it's a choice of Industy/Econ (Wealth) vs. Effic/Research (Knowledge).

Enigma:

Were still working out details for the Mini game, the basic principle is that players buy and sell share and Bases among each other to try to acumulate the most wealth and power.

Depending on how radical we are we might directly link the Mini game into our managment system. Thouse who own the bases get to manage them. And no their is no guarantee that every individual gets to manage a base (we alredy have too many people for that) nor anything to prevent a person from owning/managing several bases. We want to set up some insentive and reward system that gives the best manager the most bases. Were also debating the amount of oversight and control the CEO and board will have if they disagree with the managers.

Would it be allowed for foreign factions to negotiate with individual Morganite shareholders?
Eg: If you convince your faction to trade us IndEcon, we'll pay your faction 100 credits, with 50 credits going directly in your pocket.

Potentialy we would alow individual Morgans to Loan away their Personal Share of our Energy Credits to anyone they wish BUT our CEO would probably be alowed to set a minimum rate of Interest. Tecnologies are a faction wide resorce though so all tec Trading would be done by the Board of Directors and proceeds would be divided amonst all members.

Or maybe it's beign different. Those who live their lives one way, want to experience the different style in a fantasy world. It's just a desire to have a different style in a fantasy world. Voltaire - hello there! I am undecided as well, and wary of the spam and copious meta-game stuff that many factions seem to be implementing to (IMO) the detriment of the game and learning experience itself.

You could always do what I intend to do - wait until the game starts to see which faction(s) are actually getting along and playing well, as opposed to delaying the save, spamming uncontrollably and bogging everyone down in minigames.

With Drogue and Jamski leaving, perhaps I should join the rank of the undecided too. That way I can wait and see if the Spartans get enough members and are active enough, and if not, join another faction.
