Changing Language? Support Apolyton, buy Civilization 2

Is there anyway to change the language of the Civ3 into English if using a European version. I suppose one fix would be overwriting the Text files. Can anyone post the english version Text files? Thanks.

A group tried this, atari(then infogrames) filed a suit to stop them. But yes, all you'd need to do would be to change the text files, game was designed to be extremely moddable.

I guess the files: civilopedia, diplomacy, great books, labels, menu, script, and tutorial. That would be really great. Thanks so much, really appreciate it. And I still can't understand Atari's problem here.
