Why was this deleted? It was describing the rather irritating advert featuring Ms Spears that was at the time showing on the Off-Topic page.
Given that it relates to the site, I suppose I should have posted it here instead. Sorry.

I'd have to agree with Ming here. It appears to be nothing more than a SPAM thread to generate more posts. Unfortunately, many Apolyton members worry about their post count and post meaningless messages (sometimes even harmful) in both the main buletin board and in the OT. If we could all just talk about games like Civ and forget about the rest of it, we could all just get along.

Stopping by briefly before this account is finally disabled and I am free of the temptation to respond to cretins.
I really do love it when people pop up and stuff their ill-informed oar in and know **** all about the context. Even better when they quote the old post count argument while upping theirs by one (and we know they don't care, don't we?). I say, back in your hole until you have anything worthwhile to add.
The previous poster makes a value judgement and displays a lack of both values and judgement. A spectacular 0 out of 2 score there, I fear, and worth a 20% post count reduction.
Actually, I rather agree with the sentiment, however ill-informed, and have argued the same before. Post count sucks. Delete the whole ****ing off-topic and put the Nazis out to grass.
