	problem gettng started Suffering from ads?

When the game is launching, the monitor goes black and my LCD displayed "input not supported". I browsed through the web and thought it was problem with my driver. So I updated my driver and I did work. I played for a night. However, the problem came back when I loaded the save the next day!!! so weired.....So, pleeeease help....
I am using WinXP with 1027x768 display, an AOC LCD.

I can't diagnose your problem specifically

But, as always:

Download all the patches for your version (they can be found here in the link on the right column that says "CIV3 PATCH CENTER".) Make sure to only download patches for your version of Civ.

Next, make sure you have the latest drivers. Download the new LCD ones again (hey it worked for one night ) if you have to, first check if they haven't reverted to a previous version (no, I don't know why this would happen, but what other things could it be?).

Make sure you download all the Windows Updates, and run antivirus software (with updated definitions) to make sure your system isn't fscked up.

many thanks for your help mrmitchell. It finally works!!

I tried your link and found that I have already installed the patches. Then I installed all windows update but it doesn't work.

I had no choice and re-download the patch and re-installed it. Then it worked......I am sure I've installed it before, so it's weired.

Anyway, the key is that I can finally continue with my game!! Many many thanks!!!
