Support Apolyton, buy Civilization III: Complete

They've had to pump their commerce to the lux slider and to gold for upgrades for a while now due to the war.

Browse Apolyton AD-FREE

If we load them back on the boats and then move them through the narrow channel to Parth, they'll see us coming, and they'll only need 10-15 Ansar/units to block any possible landing spots (in the north, that is; they'd need even more units in the south to block us from landing in former CGN land).

I don't exactly see your point. Trip was proposing sending them to Flammburg, which would (I assume) mean going south, not north. Also, isn't the whole point for them to see us coming and thus keep 10-15 or more ansars away from Parth?

Help yourself to an AD-FREE life

Err, I mean the channel to Flammburg.

And yes, we would tie up those 10-15 Ansar; but we could tie up more simply on land where they'd actually have to think about fighting us.

Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

Trip, how does GWT getting Sistines figure into that WW amount??

If Flammburg is to be threatened (and this is what I'm pushing for) I say it be CFC who does it.

Well, by that math whether we pack up our forces or not and try to do something with them they won't reach anywhere in time, GCA territory or anything.

Depends on how many Cathedrals they have.

I would say if they have Cathedrals in ALL of their large cities (size 7+) then they could go down to 40% lux, but that would cripple quite a few smaller cities (requiring them to have 2+ entertainers each).

We're obviously not looking at the same map.

GWT is incapable of covering both their productive core and the Ruhrpott area at the same time. They either have to split up their forces or prioritize.

Inflate your Upload Space

But they have enough units to split their forces equally and still cover both well enough to stop us.

Increase the size of your Attachments

I would guesstimate 45-50 and growing rapidly (they're still building units faster than we are).
