I'm just trying to picture this. So you pay your fee, or flash your membership card to get past the bouncer. Walk inside to a big room full of couches and pillows with like 40 people having sex all over the place, you take off your clothes and start giving it to the nearest woman?

I never went to a sex club. OTOH, from what I could read, it's basically a club, where you pay at entry. There are tables, couches, waitresses with drinks. Some can also act as restaurants. The main difference with other clubs, IIUC, is that you are encouraged to know your neighbours, and have sex with them, either publicly in the big room, which is a place of massive orgy), or privately in private chambers.
Bear in mind that this is what I understood from what I read. I never went there, and I fear I won't go there anytime soon.

So, a guy wanting to do something consensual with his wife in a place where it is legal to do so is now "immoral." Frankly, I think Ryan's getting a raw deal, with the caveat that if he's one of those "moral values" Republicans, then he deserves is. I agree with you in principle, but not in degree. Having sex in public where you are assured that all will see you in the full (as opposed to just doing for the thrill of the possibility of someone seeing you in part) is pretty freaky deeky to me. Of course, it isn't even alleged that he actually did such a thing, only that he wanted to do such a thing.

Lots of things are freaky deeky to me, but that's none of my business. If a candidate's divorce papers were released showing he had some sort of fetish for, say, wearing women's shoes while having sex, I wouldn't see why it was the constituents' business or why it should effect his candidacy.
