Can I get my Post Count Restored?

Help yourself to an AD-FREE life

After the Big Crash (of 2001 ), I lost ~2000 posts off my post count. I had 9900+ posts, and Ming can verify that (as well as probably others). Since Ming can verify it, I see that as proof. I wouldn't wish to post over 2000 posts to reach the outskirts of Diety again...

Can you restore my post count? Pwease...

Of course it's unfortunate to drop from one level to another like this, but why don't we take this chance to get rid of the post counts altogether?

Would preempt a lot of problems in the future, and maybe people would concentrate on posting something of interest to others instead of just themselves.

Quite a large number of posters are sick and tired of post counts from what I've heard.

But there must be something in it for the admins since they won't let go of it. I just can't figure out what it is.

Because many posters value the post count, PCRs have been a somewhat effective means of discipline

Hell, when I asked Markos to restore mine, I told him my existing post count (I had only just come online before the crash and just before I last left I had hit precisely 6000 posts so I just gave the post count).

I see you are restoring post counts. I did not really care about mine, but since you are doing it for others.... I used to have about 4k posts and now it looks as though my count was divided by 10! Mind to restore it? Thanx.
