Apolyton wants YOU to MoW down those evil krauts.
We have been thinking as of late of the need to create a new MoW office now that we are off to war soon, however, given the increasing complexity of this demo game, we have thought that instead of having a lone MoW doing the job, perhaps it would be better and less burdensome if we could create a "MoW Team" with around 4-6 people.
There are many talented warmongers among us, many who have contributed very interesting ideas to our war plans. Having those people work together to analyze the military situation and give their advice/suggestions/orders.
I had PMed Aggie a few days ago to ask if he was interested in collaborating and he said yes, so I think we have one potential member on the boat now. Anyone else who is interested, please post here. Requirements: full resumé, pics of major PBEM/DG military maneouvers and a 5 vote donation to the consular re-election polls (just kidding  )

I keep getting nominated for stuff I'm not even particularly good at. I'm flattered, but I'm really not that great a general (see: War, Great Bobian, PTWDGI). I'm actually better at domestic planning than I am at fighting.
Despite that, as merely one member of a team, I'd do it if I had the time & desire. But I can't/won't commit the time needed to really be useful. I'm busy training my new dog, and when I do actually have an hour or two to play civ, well, honestly I want to be able to fire up a SP game and just play around.
Thanks for the nomination, MZ, but I decline. I will definitely check in and post my thoughts when I'm around, though.

Heh, MZ goes and publishes my idea in the forum. 
That's ok, MZ is probably correct that a better way to promote this is via asking for anyone who want to join rather than making sure I have a few core members lined up via PM (though I'm still doing that). 
Btw, people included on my list that MZ has not included above:
Aggie (who seems to want the MoW position itself), dejon, notyoueither, Fried-Psitalon, GodKing, astrologix, joncnunn, Vlad Antlerkov, UberKruX, Theseus.
Most of those people will not have time for very much if anything at all, but it would be nice to have them drop in from time to time to look at the situation and offer their input. We could certainly use the additional input from just about anyone willing to put their mind to the problems. Ultimately, decisions will be made by the MoW himself and the Consuls in oversight, but the more input and the more ideas, the better.
