	Someone to name our units and cities Support Apolyton, buy Civilization: The Boardgame

Paddy has not been around much to offer names, polls, etc. for our new units. Although I don't mind assigning names, I would prefer our people have a voice. As such, I am looking for someone as an official MOI assistant, to work with/in place of Paddy in putting together lists, polls, and so forth; to determine the will of the people; and at the appropriate time, to edit in the names into the orders.

Volunteers? Suckers? People with too much free time?

My preference for unit naming is this:

1) Polling the names of new units.
2) MOW and MOI each name their units.
3) Consuls name them.

If we don't have a poll, then I invite the Ministers to submit names. If we don't get names from them, then eventually one of us Consuls will have to come up with something.

That is what I did. However, I think that there should be either a poll so that the people (or at least those who are interested) can name units. I feel like a petty dictator when I just choose names.

Paddy the Scott was doing this. However, he has not been around for a while, so the last 4 untis I named. I am basically looking for someone to do the polls and so forth.

What I would like to see - someone makes the list of names (we already have a bunch of names, in several threads, but there is nothing stopping people from adding more). Then, picking 3-6 that are appropriate for the unit a couple turns prior to the unit being made, they set up a poll so that the people can determin which name they prefer. In setting up the poll, there is a short description of who these people are (were) or what the name means, so people can make an educated vote. Once voting is done, the person then edits the orders for teh turn the unit is created adding in their name.

Units and cities need names. The only name held in reserve now is the next city (ivory) we are going to name Olympus. Soon we will have another worker, and several more millitary units.

And as I don't like feeling like a petty dictator, I would prefer someone who has the time to help out and do the polls instead of it defaulting to me to name them.
