What a bloody stupid idea.
But while we're on naming, why is this forum now called the community forum? About the only people who come here are misfits and malcontents, hardly a community in my book.

AH has a point:
Why can't the off-topic forum be the 'community forum'? It already serves that purpose.
As for the name, how about the Coffee Shop? That has the feel of a place people would just hang out at and discuss things or do other 'community' things...
Also, it's a name with a long ACS tradition attached to it.
