IMHO, I think you take debates too personally. I didn't post to this thread in order to vent my excitement. Primarily, I wanted to report you the effect of your post (posted March 21, 2001 10:00) towards me (I suppose the same effect may arise on other Apolytoners). IMHO you should welcome any post into Apolyton forum: even an agressive post here (as "tough titty" is a useful information for you.

btw, when someone insults you, do you take it as usefull information that someone has a problem with you?

Well I have stopped using proximotron since those pop-ups disappeared. But I will not hesitate to reactivate it if they reappear, simple as that. Banner advertising is fine, but the pop ups are too intrusive, and are actually more antagonistic than anything. It is like advertising on television and telesales canvassing. The latter gets right on my tits. Like popup ads! And I will avoid them by all means necessary. And hell, you even manage to get a few clicks of those banner adverts due to my curiosity over that bloke looking like he is giving head...

If I say "forbid" then I mean "to expect not to do it" the same way as a shareware producer expect people will stop using his software after some period.

I don't, but if I would be a site administrator then I would start to do it (maybe).
You may choose any position: you may laugh if somebody insults you, you may be angry, you may keep a distance and "take it as usefull information"...
