NB: Skip this and the next post if you get sick of this crap. There's a summary at the end, with all you really need to know about me

In the interests of giving the team all the info they could possibly have (and then some) about myself for the election, I give you my DG CV.

(and also to give Togas a run for his money, at least! ).

I present to the team my credentials for Consul.

I am well experienced in every field of Demo Games and well-qualified. In addition to the above positions, I have been heavily involved in other major aspects of previous and current DGs. I was the organiser of the rules in the Civ2 DG, and I was one of the three Consuls who collaborated on the AltSp - the first grand strategy plan from the Civ3 Intersite Democracy Game. Further to this I took considerable responsibility for polling on and establishing the rotating elections system for Consuls in that game, that we are using here also. I have been effective keeper of the Single Player Democracy Game (now the Feudal Game) for some time, which included management of the Directory.

I already have mod powerZ over this forum and the Play the World Intersite DG forum and have had them since their inception due to my modship of the SPDG forum, so I know how to use the ZpellZ and WHEN to use them, so I believe I am more than capable of the responsibility of helping to manage the forum and team.

I have worked with ALL of the current Ministers and Consuls, and most of the most active posters too. Even a number of lurkers out there (civman... ) I have worked with before. So I know I can get along with anyone in this team, and anyone who is ever going to be in this team.

All of these qualities should make me ideal for the Consulship.

Summary

Well if you don't feel like reading all that crap, just read this.

What are my qualities? Why do I think I would make a great next Consul?

• I am friendly and approachable. If anyone has a question or a worry, I take it seriously and have always done my best to satisfy them.
  
• I like the Democracy process, and involving the team members as much as possible in polls and discussion threads.
  
• I am pro-PAL, and I am in chat very often.
  
• The saves often arrive at a time I could play them and send them on quickly, if need be, at a time when all North Americans and most Europeans are asleep.
  
• I am highly active, with little night-life at the moment and high-speed Internet. You do the math there.
  
• I like keeping things light-hearted.
  
• I am dedicated enough to research and write all that stuff you've just skipped
  
• I'm not a lawyer!
