	OK, I'm supposed not to whine... so try to give an objective explanation! Support Apolyton, buy Civilization 2

I'm not whining nor complaining nor spamming now. I only want you to explain me the difference, which you haven't ever done before! So far I've only been told to shut up and adapt to the rules, whenever I brought the topic of unfairness up... OK, now it's your turn, Ming! Ell me why your "No, and yes " post is fine and why I am getting warned and restricted for such posts.

And not only Ming, also Lefty Scaevola might have a try. Lefty, you told me I'm a bloody spammer and whatsoever... and in the same paragraph, you called Ming a "funposter at heart", what he has proved at other forums... well, at ACOL and CGN, Ming is spamming like a plastered Dookie, so if his posting style there is considered funposting, how can mine be considered evil and destructive spam? Of course, Markos and Dan make the rules, but shouldn't those who fight to get them through adapt to them, too?

*Hordes of Apolytoners enter the thread and spam it to death. Ecthelion tells them to stop it and gets banned. All others are funposters, they get post count augmentations.*

I have already read that post, and I knew that people will come up with it... well, I think that explains it, thank you. Actually I was already thinking about it in that way, but I got confused because there are many other posteres just like Builder, Provost Harrison or Caligastia who are constantly spamming but never got punished for it though... well, I think there are reasons for it, who cares as long as there's such a simple explanation. I agree with you that PH and Caligastia are very serious spammers, but I dont think Builder is a spammer. Look at his postcount, it's 0!

I was not distinguishing between spam & funpost, I Used the two word in proximity to each other to show that they were nearly the same, spam include, among other things, a funpost that is outside stardards of what is acceptable at a particular forum.
. As for Mings particular post, it was directly reponsive to the question ask in the thread, and therfore a serious post, even if short and intended to also have a some humor to it. Your particlular habit of posting, whcih is not accepted on these forums, involves, in varing combinations: lack of content, unrepsonsive, repetative, self reference to your post count & spamming, adn attempt to disrupt threads. The psot are judge as a whole and on a mechanical basis. Grat skill with lanquage & humor can make up for some lack of content. Spamming is also judge by your prior habits. Is a person known as a serious poster tosses in a few checks of spam, he usually is not admonsihed, becasue the moderato does not expect it to continue and become a problem. If I throw in something that looks like spam, Ming will likely believe it is a joke that fell flat, rather than an attempt to fill up a thread, post for the sake of posting, etc.

I have not opened spam threads in a massive way (only the anti-MWHC thread, and that as actually troll, flame and a parody, rather those than spam)

also, Ionly want to have fun... the more people are involved, the more fun it is... as soon as anyone is involved in a negative way (As in a joke on his expense), it's no fun anymore... therefore, I've always tried to keep it bearable... the last thing I want is to annoy or even offend someone, so stay calm my fellows!

and then, the only person that appears to be unhappy is Ming, as other people never talked to me about it (****ing complainers!!)

Now I think you are one of the complainers, and I'm happy that you're talking about it now, open!! thumbs up!

You both were even WARNED NOT TO CARRY YOUR WHINING TO OTHER THREADS in the OTF. You just don't get it... You are the one that doesn't have a clue!

First, how I post at other forums with DIFFERENT rules is not relevant to any discussion. As pointed out, the rules are different here.

Second, the big difference is that you and CR spam ALL THE TIME.
Not only is it my opinion, but it is backed up by the number of complaints I get against both of you.

I have no problem with short answers, banter back and forth, attempts at humor... but in most cases, you guys are posting just to post, and it is a pattern or habit, not a once in a while thing... for you guys, it's constant... that's the difference.

So I will warn you one more time... if you continue to threadjack with your whines about being labeled a spammer, or call others a spammer in the OTF, you will be restricted... no warning.

However, I have no problem with you whining in this forum... this is the proper place for you complaints, even if they aren't valid

I banter, I converse. I spam in the coffee shop, with the right kind of spam. And I make proper posts in proper threads. Look at the civnation threads. Granted, when he just bleats on about his righteousness, I just end up telling him to piss off. But who wouldn't? It's Apolytons very own freakshow

All my complaints about spamming here have been here publicly in the apolyton forum (with the exception of a PM, not to an admin, but to GP, to explain a cryptic post I had made in reference spam). Almost all of them have been in connection with threads bout postcount, including the first thread I posted here "postcount, who cares?".
. I expect that some of my habits, trying to lighten up some threads, commonly with a satiric post or an illuninatti joke, is considered spamish by some, but I ussually keep enought content and skill in the humors post to avoid censure. (Any one who is sick of Illuminatti jokes please PM me, with enough objections, I might reform). I spent some time in the coffee shop when I first got here, but became bored with lack of developing storylines there, and REALLY bored with "I'll have a cherryade".

Did you keep a straight face when you posted that? You see, I recall a thread I started last year on which you provided the second post.

That post read, in it's entirety "**** topic. Spam post". The thread promptly turned in a flurry of one-word posts and got locked.

Perhaps your definition of threadjacking differs to my own, but I really can't see how this fits into your "fun post" argument.

You have to act 'in the spirit of the regulations' you know; it is hard to define spam per se, it depends on the thread, the context, etc. Snappy replies are fine, but posts like 'Post count +1' are not really acceptable anywhere. If you were on CGN and started doing threads like that in my forum, I would do the same as Ming would, delete the damn thread! In many ways, if I was a mod, I'd probably vacation you more often. You wanted honesty, that is honesty.

You've asked for honest feedback several times in threads and than flamed the person who gave it to you. You seem to be getting better. So maybe you are growing up. Being able to listen to criticism and not argue with it (even if you disagree) is an important lesson to learn as you move into manhood.
