Perhaps we can convince our friend Beta to give up his AWMD -- Ancient Weapon of Mass Destruction -- known as the Statue of Zeus. It's a very destablizing agent to world peace, Emperor Betamus, you must see that. The Hittite governmental offices are closed as we are celebrating the Anarchy Holiday (which lasts an ungodly amount of time). A sticky situation in this random world. Germany is not all that suprised to see Rome's troops, after centuries of training, being eager to fight. Building SoZ doesn't give the impression Rome's intentions are peacefull on the longer run either.
Germany is however suprised to take notice of Sumeria's support towards Rome. Even more to take notice of the aggression with which this support is accompanied.

In a first official reaction, Germany wishes to express deep discomfort with this situation. Seeing our Koreans friends being slaughtered moves the German people deeply. Due to the distance separating Germany from the battlefield, Germany has not yet come to a decission where as how to aid our friends.

Our thoughts go out to those who have fallen and their famillies.

That painting of you is really repelling, Sumerian, as are your diplomatic skills. Sumeria has recently been offered to coexist on our Pangaea rather than to be swept away. Choosing friends and foes is each ones right, but what is there to gain for Sumeria in having Rome overthrow Korea? Your threats are considered to be screams of stupidity here in Germany. After carefull consideration, the first decsion of the German Council of the Square Table has come to the following first decission:

Due to the destabilizing actions of Rome, Chivalry, when finished will not be granted to Rome. Only when this conflict is solved quickly (reads as Rome retreats), the gold payed by Rome will be returned. If the conflict is not to be solved quickly, the 72 gold will be distributed among those people that support the world balance and have contributed to the research of Chivalry: Koreans, Iroquois, Hittites & Germans, 18 gold each.

Further actions are still to be debated. Currently, Amsterdam is taking a strongly disapproving, yet non involving position.

Korea has wondered about Sumeria's support of Rome as well. After proclaiming themselves "peaceful" they go and support the Romans in a war of sheer aggression whose only apparent purpose is the complete and total genocide of the Korean people.

Neither the Sumerians or the Romans can be trusted any longer and I urge the Germans, Hittites, and Iroquois to remember this in any future dealings with these two rogue nations. Unity is strength and I urge all of you to band together to destroy these two menaces before they pick all of us off one by one.

Meanwhile, Korea is appreciative of the support of the German people in regards to tech embargoing the two rogue nations. Germany has proven itself a true friend of Korea, unlike the Romans under Beta-Janus III.
