My bet is on a busted router. I know of a site that couldn't be reached from Finland for months. The best way to counter that is to set your browser to use a proxy that'll use a different route to get to Poly. Easiest, most straightforward and free way is to use an open proxy server, Those can get slow though.

Try a site like http://www.openproxies.com (appears to be down at the moment) for an address. If you're using Firefox, it's Tools -> Options -> General -> Connection Settings ->, and there select "Manual Proxy Configuration" and put in an addy and a port number for HTTP for whatever proxy you want to try out.
