What started as a posting 'sorry I vanished but I was unable to get online until I got back home' message has turned into a 'WTF has happened?'.

I cannot access the nation of Ceroo. It appears to be deleted.
On investigating, I find Ceroo is responsible for a mass-ejection of nations from Apolyton.
Many of my accounts on forums and other internet games have been lost or have become inaccessable in the past week or so- many of which had info about them saved in my hotmail account which had the same password as my NS nation. I can only apologise that my poor security has led to some stupid act being comitted.
Either someone guessed/hacked the NS nation- and then tried the same password on the hotmail account (which is registered on the settings) or vice-versa (someone got into hotmail and found some NS details there).
I have no idea who/what the ADN or Kifaticia (Kifaticia has been TM'd but no response yet) are/is- the first I've heard was the reference somebody made to to a changed regional message. (I have managed a brief scan of forum messages). Rest assured, if they are responsible, I will find a way of exacting revenge.
I will try and post again shortly, in the meantime I've got many more accounts to try and recover, which I am not to happy about... (as much for my stupid keeping of passwords in the hotmail account as anything).
I will try & get round to replying to PMs in the next day or two also...

Hotmail?

Hotmail is the suck, man! The best thing to do is to record everything in a file then encrypt it by GPG (GNU Privacy Guard).

Of course, using the same password (an easy one at that it seems) for two accounts is one of the basic no-no's.

-Make sure your password is not something easy to guess or crack by brute force. A good password is:
-At least 8 characters long
-A mix of numbers, upper and lower case letters, and assorted punctuation.
-Not a word in ANY language

Ceroomaster - I am under the impression that NationStates admins have the power to undelete nations. I have no idea what their time line is on resurrecting nations. Its worth a try.
