	Where Can I Find Scenarios? Inflate your Upload Space

I know civfanatics but I was wondering where I can find a more extensive library(s).

Apolyton has a lot of old scenarios. The finest scenarios are collected at spanish.apolyton.net. csc.apolyton net has a big collection but it hasn't been updated for nearly 4 years.

Not that I know of.

But generally speaking, movies don't really translate well into civ2 scenarios. I haven't seen the movie, but from what I've heard, it's basically a dramatization of some extreme global warming scenario.

The whole personal aspect of that wouldn't really work, unless you're fine with a very restrictive RPG-like scenario where you guide a select group of characters along a well-defined route.

A scenario that's only inspired by the movie, depicting the global/US situation rather than the actual story line, would just be about global warming. While undoubtedly fascinating, it's rather hard to make that into something really playable, because there isn't really a well-defined protagonist (i.e. a possibly AI controlled enemy to fight).


Of course, I wouldn't stop anybody trying to make one. I know I'm still eagerly awaiting an Independence Day-inspired alien invasion scenario.

Actually in Day After Tomorrow, at the end, most of the US is evacuated to Mexico. Only small parts of Texas and Florida are left. Most Americans are living in Mexico figuring out what to do. Europe is in a similiar situation, but where they went, we dont know.
A cool Civ scenario/map would be having the orphan Americans and their troops find a new home and rebuild.

Any thoughts?

Well the Americans would be stuck in a foreign country with many of their weapons/army and no where to go. I think it would be cool to see how players would handle it. Would they fight the Mexicans for land, ask for help or set off to conquer Belize?
