I found Apolyton on a whim, looking for a temporary home until I joined my other nations back in boring Arcadia where my Inoffensive Centrist Democracy is UN Delegate. And then I got excited to be here because of the potential for RP.
But I don't know.
Do you guys actually RP on this forum or just talk about rules? Hello? Anyone? Beuller?
I've been trying to get the Noblesse thread going. I put out possibilities for others to respond to, but nothing happens. If I hadn't been posting then the thing would have sat stagnant for days. Do you guys RP or not? What's going on?
I work almost a hundred hours a week and I still find time in my day to participate, but all I see on this forum is posts about rules and other posts that have nothing to do with what you proclaim this space to be, an RP message board.
What do rules matter if no one RP's anyway?
Is anybody out there????

It's a logical fallacy to say that the only good threads are your own threads. Sounds pretty boring. The only good threads are threads that have participation, no matter who starts them. What's funny is that this thread has gotten a lot of responses. Does that make it a good thread? No.
Anyway, the Noblesse thread had great potential, but participation fell off pretty darned quickly. I provided many trial balloons for people, but no one wants to play. Even the creator of the thread makes no response when I give him opportunity.
So, my nation is now dead in Apolyton. I RP'd it out of existence in the region. I've left the region to try elsewhere. Sorry for my lack of patience, but that's just the way it is. One contributing factor, again, is the fact that a thread like this actually gets attention while a nice RP thread languishes. And the response in this thread, "Start an RP thread." How about bring a little RP to the existing RP threads? Starting a new one doesn't solve the underlying problem.
Sigh...I had so much hope for my time in this region...bye!!!
