Crunch time re: bases is next turn, so we need to decide before someone plays the turn!
Since both bases are size 2, I rushed both CP's. MorMet was 2.e.c for one min. As thats the cheapest we can get it, I figured its still a good deal
MorInd was 56 e.c. IIRC. I wrote that down but my computer crashed just after I'd saved the end turn so I don't know exactly sorry...
Edit: Also changed both their workers onto the most mineral intensive squares possible for greater carry over next turn.
NW scout moves back to MorInd. Found a pod 2 w of MorInd. May be worth popping on the way home incase we can get a free former or rover or somesuch. Otherwise we should leave it until we can place a base next to it.
Ind. SW scout moves along river then onto flat square. Nothing exciting alas. Will move SE towards Yang unless someone objects strongly & persuasivly.
E scout carries on home for disbanding.
I will be unable to play the next few turns I think. Certainly from Thursday til next sunday I'll be unavailable, and before then may be a bit dodgy. JT, can you do the next few?

My dear Impaler, I'm sorry you feel so annoyed. My reasoning was this:
- None of the scurity personnel has given me explicit orders for the movement of the scout. You've expressed a preference that it goes to meet Yang, which I somewhat agree with. However, there has been much more agreement over meeting Yang with a probe team and hopefully infiltrating him on first contact.
- There has also been much discussion and complaining about us not exploring for very much longer due to disbanding our current scouts. I knew we were near the end of our land in that area and that we wouldn't be back for long. It's definatly worth checking out to see what's there.
- One of the potential solutions to the no explore problem would be an independent unit, such as that from a pod. If there had been a pod there, a rover would be invaluable, and we'd never have known without going there.
- Delaying contact with Yang may be a VERY good thing indeed... it depends how much Buster has beefed him up.
In short, I moved it there because the potential gain we could have had was far greater than the cost of moving it out of the way slightly. I'd happily do it again.
I will not be posting the intended movement of every scout every turn, nor every other movement. I don't have time or inclination to do so. If you wish to, you could post your recommendations here, in whatever level of detail you feel apropriate, and I'll take them on board as I have been doing so far in this game. If you want someone else to be CEO then tell me so, and I'll happily stand down. I'm quite sure there is something else I could be doing with my time.
Edit for formatting and gramar

Impaler, please relax and be civil when you have a grievance. In a demo game, it's pretty much guaranteed that some things won't go as you hoped. I'd like to see the scout head south, but I agree with others that there was no clear consensus.
One person being upset does not warrant talk of resignation. Chaunk, you have done an excellent job. You and I disagree on a couple points of theory like PTS and base placement, but you have shown skill, reliability, initiative, and good communication (regarding both making suggestions and listening to others' arguments). We could hardly ask for more from any CEO.
