Che: The apparently approved methods of communicating personal help requests, as opposed to a bug affecting many posters, is a private message or email, rather than a post on the UBB. I suspect a modicum of graciousness and flattery in the PM or email could have a salutory result on the speed of response. Expressions of impatience, however, tend to get Nelson's blind eye.

I say you let him keep it...as a cautionary tale to other rash youths who may attempt to make themselves stand out from the rest of the herd.

Sort of like a scarlet letter, only in half-assed italics.

Though I am getting a bit tired subconsciously italicizing his name.

It's obvious the UBB experiment of yours didn't pan out. As others have suggested, perhaps trying to get things fixed via PM while maintaining patience will pay off quicker in the end. BTW, thanks for proving what I suspected all along .

Actually, most of the UBB and CGI scripts will not allow user names containing UBB and HTML code, as well as in the thread subjects. I've seen people like that on other forums, and never one did succeed.
