Tell me something Birdie

When you use something such as PBEM Lite..how does that effect (or affect ) any other PBEM games?

I ask because I play right now 8-9 PBEM Games and some games I get some fricking weird messages I can only assume come from the OFT2 game..

BUT they are appearing in non-OFT2 games??

Just curious because as allways I often wonder, in the back of my mind, if one can "altar" files and still play undetected?

Ok..I asked and hope to get an answer

As far as I know, it does not affekt other games at all as it is nothing but a scenario with only two files: It's own scenario.slc-file and a diffDB.txt file.

Why doies the message box appear in other games not using the particular slic?

Just asking is all..

like instead of the vanilla answer "ACCEPT" or "REJECT"

You get "DISBAND" and maybe "allow tga.ooo1a color to be used" as the options to press

I've often wondered about that too. I've always assumed it was caused by something wrong with the game creator's files.

and then I'll get some other strange messages like I have never seen..in normail diplmacy when an ai accepts a proposal..or rejects a proposal..

I have perhaps played as many games as anyone here (single,online and now PBEM) and have seen some of the strangest things in a pbem game..
