I wonder how Zkribbler is doing. He was heading for Shanghai for a week last time we saw him.

That sign on the internet cafe that says it will open on the 7th is still there and the place hasn't opened. I think the sign will remain there, getting moldy in rainy season and sun bleached in dry. Eventually a typhoon will come and the wind will tear at it, until, in its weakened condition, it will be shredded and in tatters blown off the building.

So, no internet in Jagna and it's a two hour drive on a really bad road to Tagbilarin where I'm sitting.

So...

I'll likely be checking in about once a month when we come shopping.

Ben, when you get your ticket you'll need to call the house with the particulars. Buy a phone card or the call will be very, very expensive. Either that or get a calling plan. ATT has one that allows calling the Phils for aprox 16 cents a min.

If someone needs my phone #, and he's somewhat normal, go ahead and give it... If you need it ask Theben, Zkrib, or Ben.

Oerdin has it I think.

To make a long story short, my mom changed her mind about supporting me on this trip.

And I know I need to go Theban, so it's back to my old plan of looking for steady work so that I can save up enough to go.

At least now, I have a place to stay for an indefinite length of time, so I won't be moving again, unless some other drastic changes happen.
