When AOTC came out I already knew most of the major plots of the movie so this time around I figure I'll actually wait till the day I see it to find out anything about it. So I'll resist the urge to look at any site dealing with ROTS

Another thing I find kind of funny are the abbreviations Lets see if I got it right

Apparently they've added celebration scenes which include jar-jars dancing and cheering to some of the old movies.

Really.

I know one shouldn't expect too much of Star Wars, which is after all Hollywoodian entertainment intended to appeal the greatest number.

But "Revenge" is something you use in the second opus of a B-movie, when you have no idea at all. This title is on the same level as would be "Revenge of the Mummy", "Revenge of the Undead", or "Revenge of the chainsaw killer"

Um... yeah? And since when has Star Wars been anything but a glorified B-movie with A-movie special effects? That was the whole fun part of the original trilogies (B-movies with A-movie effects).

It never was anything more than a glorified B-movie. And as I said, I wouldn't have expected anything more from it. The title sucks just as much as "Return of the Jedi"

What actually amazes me, is that people (like you) can be so impressed by the genius of this title. The title is lame. It corresponds well to the series, which is entertaining but lame.

Anyone else think the new dialog in the Emperor ESB scene was just plain awful? So now Vader doesn't even know that Luke exists until that scene? Incredible, they will have to change the opening scroll on Empire that said something like "Vader's obsessive for the young Skywalker" or something like that...

Unfortunately, the only battles from the Clone Wars that we will see on screen will be the lame one at the end of Episode II and a short sequence at the beginning of Episode III.

Yes, and we can only pray that they will be shot by someone other than Lucas. Lucas himself has recently said (though often giving contradictory answers) that he would never shoot 7, 8, or 9 himself (though saying in another interview that he has been toying with the idea lately ). But I'm sure Star Wars will continue someday, by someone.

Back in the day though, like before RotJ was released, he said in interviews that 7, 8, 9 would involve a minor character who was just barely seen in ESB and who would be seen slightly more in RotJ and eventually become a main character in the next trilogy. The "other" that Yoda spoke of was originally intended to be this character, eventually he scrapped the idea of a third trilogy though, and no one really knows who the mystery character was intended be, though many have speculated.

Yep... 7, 8, and 9, if they ever get done will be the aftermath of the battle at the end of RotJ, which Admiral Thrawn and the return of the Emperor. I'm not that much of a fanboy, I haven't read those books . But from what I've heard, they would have been MUCH better to do movies of, in terms of material (such as what Luke has to do). I like the prequals, but searching for the reasons that turn a republic into a dictatorship, while interesting, makes some people bored.
