	The Storyteller Interviews, Edition 2: Grandpa Troll Remove this text

Hi Everybody! It's your ol' pal Alexander the Great here, interviewing our good buddy Grandpa Troll!!! I took this interviewer gig because the all-knowing boss of me, Metaliturtle, has no plans for me to be in his stories anymore. Woe is me! But for reals, this isn't about me, it's about one of my favorite new additions to the Civ3 Stories Forum, Grandpa Troll!!! I already said that... but I'll say it again!! Grandpa Troll!!!!

So, here's the name of the game folks. You post all kinds of crazy obscene questions on this thread. Good ol' reliable Grandpa Troll answers them in a series of PMs to Mister Metaliturtle. Mister Metaliturtle then rocks it out in a big fat informative yet highly entertaining document for our all-wise "Yoda" of stories, Dark Cloud. Then Dark Cloud will make it a news item and instantly Grandpa Troll, Metaliturtle, and I become famous in Apolyton Land! (Not that I already wasn't.)

So let's see some...

Questions for Grandpa Troll!

1. Grandpa Troll, word on the street is that Grandpa Troll isn't your original forum handle, would you care to explain the evolution of your many Apolyton names?

2. I saw a bumper sticker once that said 'If you remember the 60's, you probably weren't there," so, what happened back in the 1960's that you were so hesitant to talk about?

9. Does forum feedback dictate storyline in a current writing? Future writing?

10. Why write for Apolyton?

12. Do you think he will become a lil' Troll and rock some spiffy stories out on here anytime soon?

13. I noticed that you are a member of Apolyton Plus, since some people may not be sure about the benefits (besides the really cool 'inmate' badge) could you tell us why you think Apolyton Plus was worth the investment?

14. I believe 13 questions is bad luck, are you superstitious at all?

Okay, well, Metaliturtle, if you could please send me the edited answers, I'll see what I can do with them.

I'll nudge mark and dan about jump-starting hte series with an official large news item/special... now that the Apolyton 6th Birthday celebration is over, it'll probably be only a matter of days before Interview #1 is up!

Mark told me to keep bothering him. I've gotten responses from him saying it's coming on the 6th, 14th and the 20th... I have to admit, I'm getting slightly tired of this. But I do acknowledge that he is busy.

that would be my extent..I can speak a little and understand a little more, what i learned on the Missions Field in Honduras serving as a missionary for my Lord Jesus Christ for two short stints building Church's for God

two years ago I went to Jutiapa in the El Paraiso Province (State) near Danli central-eastern Honduras

This year went to the Choluteca Region to Las Pitas near El Corpus

Man it was hot where i went this time

In May 100+ degrees..

we stayed in Choluteca where at 5:00 am it was mid-high 90's and when we got off the mountain top (3000+ feet in air-1.5 hour drive one way each day by 4wd jeep) it would be in low 100's at 6:30 at night

we send to teasm each year..to foremost build relationships and then second the building..usually a 30 X 60 14 course high block building

11 person teams

Mas Mescla (MORE MORTAR!!)

I dun know how to write much Espanol just barely speak it.

We usually bring 3-4 translators and of course the local missionary construction coordinator helps by being a liason

well..past week my pc fried

Bought new one reinstalling games but lost everything but alas life will go on

soooo

starting over with writing

I am fairly certain from minimal feedback that perhaps my previous writing may have been..umm.."ahead of my time"..or i just plain sucked

EWell, I am contemplating my next go and feel my shortcomings have been perhaps from too detailed or not spontaneous enough..

I reckon I will not try to do a super size map since the game takes so long to play out

I believe a smaller map with more ai to have more interaction

Ok..Ill post soon

I do love writing

I do really enjoy CIVIII and notice we have minimal action ongoing so maybe by continual input we will have more joining us..at least I hope so

Soooo...how are them interviews that are forthcoming to be posted?
