	Why was "Ode To My Brother's Female Ass" removed from the OT? Support Apolyton, pre-order Civilization IV

This was a thread about my brother's donkey which happens to be famale. Though it could be read in another way, the fact that what is being discussed is a donkey is stated in the thread.

It's just a play on words, nothing really wrong with it. My brother does have a female ass, and is very happy with it.

So, can you put it back please? I hope someone kept a copy just in case...

Since there was no other point to that thread except your desire to use that thread title... toast!

I actually agree with you... But the complaint did draw my attention to the thread. It seemed like pure spam to me...

Normally when somebody complains about a thread title, and I think it's a valid complaint, I will usually just edit the thread title instead of deleting it. But in this case, after seeing the that there was no real substance to the thread, it was just easier to put it out of it's misery

So you can say it was deleted for an offensive title, or that it was spam... either way, TOAST

Actually the purpose was to share a play on words. Though the thread could be taken two ways, there is a perfectly innocent way in which it could be taken. I suggest that whoever (yeah right Ming, it was gone in 5 seconds) complained, has a dirty mind, otherwise there would have been no problem. With such threads if there's a problem the problem is in the mind of the beholder.

I would suggest that maybe what happened is you removed it before reading it? That you had no idea it was regarding a donkey? That you take lightly removing something that, though dumb, was a bit of an effort to put together?

Tsk tsk...bit of innocent fun, a play on words, gone. An ode that I played with for a frigging hour, "toast". Bad day Ming?

drake...stupid, no doubt, but certainly there have been stupid threads before and there will be stupid threads again. Stupid ain't against the rules. Since when is a thread which is in fact perfectly innocent...a donkey is known as an 'ass', removed because of the way it could be taken?

Now watch this thread get deleted. Really, just watch! Can't discuss anything so rude as my brothers female ass...poor thing will be heartbroken!

Since you are in to opinions and making up stories about my actions/thoughts... I'll play that game too.

You were bored, had nothing better to do, so you came up with a thread title that you thought would be deleted so you could then get up on your high horse and complain about it. A pure troll from the very beginning.

Now... people can look at both pieces of fiction and decide which one is more likely here

How can a new thread be spam? I know one can post pointless stuff in a thread and thats spam, but a thread is its own topic yes? How can it be its own spam?

LightEning, I wish I did. I could redo it, and it might be close, but the creative juices are disturbed by this...this...art critic of a mod we have here.

I think I should be able to recreate it however, it's just the title that was represented as "offensive". Ming, did you destroy my work when you deleted it or does it exist somewhere in the bowels of Apolyon?

I could start a new thead...'Ode To My Brother's Female Ass, Also Known As Donkey' for the faint hearted or easily confused or offended.

Ming, those that would enjoy my Ode and are curious are showin\g up, can I redo it here for the purposes of discussion of its merits as a tread, and whether it was spam, a definition of which I am not satisfied yet?

But, feel free to recreate your efforts here if you wish. As far as it being spam, I would state that the thread served no purpose... in my mind that makes it spam (yes, an opinion)...

But, if you had seen the responses (I deleted it before it got worse), you would have had to agree with me that it had turned into a spam thread.
