I actually did (and still do) feel bad about this.

If Krill really is in as much trouble as he lets on, our game will not last much longer than 20-25 more turns. That's not much fun for either of us. I'm secretly rooting for Krill to turn it around.

I think it was a mistake to select Demigod as the difficulty for our game (AFAIK we're the only ones). The swing effect of alliances in the early-game is simply too great above Emperor (even then I imagine it can be painful to be on the wrong side).

no, in reality I brought this on myself, by attacking Persia (Dom, remember that I said I was settler bopping? I lied, I took out 3 workers next to Persias capital)


Personally, after playing this game, I am happy playing on emperor with the AU mod. That is fun (for me) and does not require skills I don't have.
