I like having access to all things related to the making of civ 3, even if it's a single column with some text that is the same as in another posting.

MrFun:
First of all, you are blowing this out of proportion. Yes, the text of the GameSpot UK preview was equal to that that was posted in an earlier preview. I will admit then when the story was first posted I neglected to make this fact clear, and as such modified the story accordingly.
That said, one may have missed something when they read the preview before as it was referenced from the "original" news item. Also, some people have missed the news of the preview when it was 'hot'. Finally, the preview does indeed contain a comprehensive collection of screenshots even if some of them are already "old school".
Again, the article states at the beginning that it is a reiteration of a previous preview and that previous preview is named. This information is there from the onset so that you can skip past the story should you wish to based on that fact.

I take back my above post. Since Snapcase is News Editor, Mr Fun, I think you should comnplain three times a day, he is a real prude.
Hey Snapcase how digging up about some news that we can use, say, something about a Nyphomanics, Gay Adonises, Stud Muffins & High Endurance Lesbians TBS Game club. (I hope I got all the rgualar posters covered there.) "Hey honey, let's put the LAN game on pause, settle on the couch, and explore each other maps."

Theben, you stated:
"Poos" Meier? Nice choice of words, guys. How about "piddles on"? Shows what a class act this place can be.
I can't believe you're complaining about this.
You know, I almost titled it "Craps On", but I felt that was a little too strong. I also contemplated going with "****s On" but, of course, that would be unprofessional and anything but a class act.
So, what's your problem?

It just sounded childish.

Well, it just sounded childish.
Apolyton's audience is geared to both males and females of all ages -- to use any stronger language would have been completely inappropriate and indeed, again, anything but a class act.

Theben:
So I used a word that you wouldn't have in this situation. So I used a word that is a little unorthodox (and wasn't the contents of the story that corresponded to it indeed that?)
Whether you like it or not is completely subjective -- there is no right or wrong answer here, IMHO.
