Ok so you agree to play one never do and the whinner wins? Ok so you agree to play but never start a game but being away from the game you never started for two weeks means the complainer of the game you never started wins the game that did not exsist, except in an agreement to start the game you never played. But lost cuz you never played it, the game that does not exsist I mean. ok

And all this for what a notch in the win side that has no meaning in the rankings, wow this is starting to make sense now. ;0)

A "Hoser" & A Whiner (Think THIS is how its spelt?? agree and a person doesnt play a game..)

I mean Blackice maybe YOU like stale bread to eat on but some of us enjoy fresh bread that moves and dun grow moss on it


My whole point here was people coming and going and holding up games..

Kinda like the deal in a MP game where you have 6 people and one of them takes 20-30 minutes per turn

U Wouldnt play very long and most certainly would lose interest, would you NOT?

The simple course would be to write it off as I do but new rules are always cool even if it is meningless at this point. i sure hope we do not use the win collum in the future only to find out number one spot is held by someone who won the most games by default...

Well, I have another theory..

I guess I could have just given up and not been a man and played the turns out then left a player (S) holding the bag..

I mean it sez something if you win , correct?

and it sez something if you lose?

I read above comments about me playing all these matches with Blackygryffin..

WHAT I MISSED was when the people beat me and no comments were made...

How does that work..

If I get into a match and find out by turn "X" thats YIKES!! I bit off a bit more than I can handle..what would be the appropraite thing to do Blackice?

Should I play until I lose what was known by me a long time ago, i stood no chance..do i quit? or go on and make the most of it and try to learn?

Do I say "Nah, Ill just stop playing turns because this guy knows all the intricasies and I dont wanna play no more?"

Just asking, I see it that your point seems to be if say you and I agree on a match and then we set it and i up and dissappear...YOU should not get the win?

I dont have aproblem with that if thats your only bone of contention..

WHAT I DO have a problem with is people up and leaving to avoid a loss well into the game..happened to me and I didnt appreciate it..

If Quinns or anyone else wants to change it to make #11 "X" turns into a game then fine with me..

As for WINS VS LOSSES...

I guess it is a pride thing from years of competition..

AND many people look upon ones record as a sort of establishment of ones history..

I mean yes Blackygryffin is new so i get a win..

BUT the others 4 losses i played were against great players whom schooled me..and good..should they too get a win for whooping me so badly..

Well the game was played you lost, or won rankings changed or did not change, the reason is alive. A newbie comes along and disapears before the game even gets emailed...no biggy truckin

I like competition to but if the win slot has no merit which at this point is true, cuz if most of your wins come from flunkies/dropouts then how good are you really and do you deserve the ranking?

So ya that was the basis fro my original query what constitues a game a nod or an actual game where you spelled it out quite nicely joe blow over his head up and quits at the 50th turn. Ya you get the win and the ranking if it applies, and rightly so. But for a game that has never been played?

I think we agree here, eh! ;0)
